Trade union members are individuals who have joined a labor union to collectively represent and advocate for their rights and interests in the workplace. They pay membership dues to support the union's activities, such as negotiating with employers for better wages, benefits, and working conditions. Trade union members often participate in strikes, protests, and other actions to pressure employers to meet their demands. **

Joining a trade union can be worth it for many workers, as it provides collective bargaining power, protection of workers' rights, and access to support and resources. Trade unions can negotiate better wages, benefits, and working conditions for their members, and provide representation and advocacy in case of disputes with employers. Additionally, being part of a trade union can offer a sense of solidarity and community among workers. However, the decision to join a trade union should be based on individual circumstances and the specific benefits and support that the union can provide in a particular industry or workplace. **

Both the works council and the trade union serve different purposes and have their own advantages. The works council focuses on representing employees within a specific company, addressing issues related to working conditions, and promoting employee welfare. On the other hand, trade unions operate at a broader level, representing workers across different companies or industries, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and advocating for workers' rights on a larger scale. The effectiveness of either the works council or the trade union depends on the specific needs and goals of the employees they represent. **

The thin layer of gold plating on the bronze can wear off, exposing the bronze underneath to oxidation, which causes tarnishing. To prevent tarnishing, it is important to clean and maintain gilded bronze objects regularly and store them in a dry, controlled environment. **
